Landmark's COVID-19 Precautions


During these unprecedented times with the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s understood that every business in every industry is making changes to keep employees and their customers safe. In healthcare, it’s even more magnified. Now that the vaccine is being distributed, it is not time to let our guard down and to stop taking extra precautions such as wearing face masks, maintain social distancing, etc. to keep everyone safe.


The safety of our Patients, their Caregivers, and our Employees is of utmost importance. Therefore, we want to encourage everyone that interacts with Landmark to take the necessary precautions to not spread the virus. Landmark is taking practical steps to keep everyone safe while still delivering homecare equipment and home infusion medication.

  1. Face masks are required in our offices. In both our Fort Worth and Irving offices, both employees and guests are required to wear masks to follow state and local ordinances. Employees are also having temperature checks while working in-office.

  2. Our delivery technicians have all the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) to make deliveries in a safe manner. Landmark has also been giving extra allotments of reimbursement to all of our delivery technicians to cover the extra cost for PPE. When entering a Patient’s home, they will only enter the areas where the home medical equipment must be installed. To our Patients that are positive for COVID-19, they are making deliveries safe from a 6-foot distance outside. We know how important it is to get your medical equipment and home infusion medication on a timely basis, so we are not shying away from making deliveries, but we are taking the precautions to keep everyone safe.

  3. We are encouraging all Patients to sanitize and disinfect all equipment before and after each use. For example- for our Power Mobility Patients, each time your power wheelchair or power scooter is brought back into your house, we advise that you wipe it down with alcohol or a disinfectant wipe.

  4. If you are expecting a delivery from Landmark and start to experience symptoms of COVID-19 and/or have tested positive, please call us at (877)693-0007 so we can make the proper arrangements to stay distanced and safe during your delivery.

  5. Landmark is encouraging Patients and Employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine when it is available to them. This is a significant step to take to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and eventually be able to return to normal activities.
